Meet Our February Pet of the Month!

Name: Yoda

Yoda is an 11-year-old miniature schnauzer with a lot of personality packed into his 16-pound body! His owners describe him as mischievous, loving and energetic. Like most dogs, he lives for car rides, walks and belly rubs, but is also content to simply spend his days snuggled up to his owners. One word that describes Yoda is loyal, and the thing that his owners enjoy most about him is the signature “guilty face” he has when he’s done something he wasn’t supposed to and knows it….  His favorite things to eat include peanut butter, steak, and “whatever else he can get his mouth on.” It is clear to see through his impeccable taste that he is a very good, spoiled boy!

When asked to provide an anecdote that spoke to Yoda’s personality, his owners described a time where their yard had just been mowed, and he went out and rolled in the grass. When he came back into the house, he had turned almost entirely green, like the real Yoda!

Yoda has been in and out of the clinic a variety of times throughout his life, but most notably had an impressively large mass removed from his abdomen last May. Throughout all of his visits, Yoda has been a joy to work with, always maintaining a great attitude with our staff despite his health complications. He is certainly a good boy who is more than worthy of receiving a Pet of the Month honor!
