Giving Back in the Community

As we ease into fall, it’s nice to know that some things haven’t changed. Jan Abendroth, owner of Rockport Automotive, has always believed in giving back to the community that continues to support her business. Rockport Automotive has been giving back to other organizations and businesses every month since 2013.  Supporting the community is an important part of Rockport Automotive and we stride to make a difference with other local organizations.  Every month, $5.00 from each oil change goes back to a recipient in the community.

We invite organizations to contact Jan to inquire on how your organization can become a recipient of this program.  Please email jan@rockportautomotive.com for more information.

October 2021, our recipient is New Hope for Women!

New Hope for Women offers support to people in Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, and Waldo counties affected by domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking, and provides educational resources to assist our communities in creating a safer and healthier future.

New Hope for Women believes that the misuse of power to demean or control others fosters oppression and violence. This manifests itself as racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, religious bigotry, domestic abuse and other forms of violence. New Hope for Women believes that a just and peaceful society must commit itself to confronting and overcoming all forms of oppression and violence.
